Notification Channel

The Notifications Channel provides a central location for all of your notifications from Observability Service. Using the Notification Channel, you can configure which communication service you want to use and see relevant statistics and troubleshooting information.

Prerequisites

  • You need to create an email group.

Create an Email Group

  1. On the Notification Channel page, click the Email Group tab to open the Email Group page.
  2. On the Email Group page, click the "Add New" button.
  3. Specify the Email Group name, and then click the "Add" button to select or type in one or more email addresses.

  • You can add a maximum of 5 emails.
  1. Click the "Create an Email Group" button.

Create a Notification Channel

  1. On the Notification Channel page, click the "Add New" button.
  2. Specify the Channel Name.
  3. On the Email Group section, click the "Choose an Email Group" button to select the email group you want.
  4. Click "Create a Channel" button.

Managing Notification Channel

  • On the Notification Channel page, click the Channels to you want to edit.
  • In the Channel Drawer, you can edit the Channel Name and Email Group. Also you can Mute the channel.
