Backup Plans

Backup Plans, allows you to create a comprehensive backup plan specifically for your volumes. From this service, you can view, edit, and create new backup plans for your volumes. You can also customize the schedule and contents of your backups to ensure that your volume data is securely stored and can be quickly restored when needed.

Create a Backup Plan

  1. Go to the "Backup Plans" page.
  2. Click "Add New" button to create a backup plan.
  3. On the "Create a Backup Plan" page, you need to specify backup plan settings.
  4. Click "Backup Plan" button. After that enter the backup plan name.
  5. On the "Schedule Options" section, you can create a custom plan or you can choose existing plan.
    • Create a Custom Plan: With a customized backup plan tailored to your needs, you can store your data.

      • Month: You can select as many months as you want.
      • Days of Week: You can select as many days as you want.
      • Days of Month: You can select as many days of month as you want.
      • Start at: In this option, you decide at what time your backup plan will be taken.
      • Max Number of Recovery Points: Specify the number of recovery points you want to retain.
    • Choose Existing a Plan: With the existing backup plans, you can store backups at regular intervals.

      • Retention 7 Days: A backup is taken every day at 02:00 AM and stores for 7 days.
      • Retention 14 Days: A backup is taken every day at 02:00 AM and stores for 14 days.
  6. After creating backup plans settings, you must select volume.
  7. Click "Create a Backup Plan" to create your plans.

Managing Backup Plans

After creating your backup plan, you can edit it, disable it, or add a new volume to your plan.

Edit Backup Plans

  1. Go to the "Backup Plans" page.
  2. Click on the plan you want to edit.
  3. In the panel that opens on the right, you can change the name and description of your plan.
  4. You can also update your plan to be custom or existing.

Adding New Volume to Backup Plan

  1. Go to the "Backup Plans" page.
  2. Click on the plan you want to add new volume.
  3. On the plan panel, click "Volumes to Backup" button.
  4. Click "+ Add" button to add new volumes for your plans.
  5. In the "Choose a Volume" section, select the volume you want to add and click "Save" button.

Disable and Delete Backup Plan

You can disable or delete your backup plan. When you click on the plan you want to process, you can perform the desired action by clicking the Disable and Delete buttons in the panel that opens.
